Foundation Repair of Cracked Concrete Slab
The drought in Texas in 2011 caused many foundation problems and cracked slabs. This is a foundation repair, demonstrating how posts are pressure driven into the earth until they reach a point of resistance. In this location, 20 cylinders were driven into the soil. Once all 9 holes have been driven, simultaneously the lift takes place as the jacks lift the slab back to level. A digital altimeter measures the level change and confirms the slab is at the same elevation.
